![]() Select all of the lines, type “JOIN”, and the right click to join them together. The lines that represent the cut through the building are all disconnected. Move the section cut out of the geometry that you cut through to a clean area in your work space. If you have not clicked anything after you make the section cut, the section line is already selected for you. If we look in the perspective view, we see that Rhino has created a line for everything that we cut through. In plan view, we can see a straight yellow line. Right click to tell Rhino you’re done making the section line. I have chosen to start the line on the left side of my base plane and have it cut through two buildings. You are now prompted to create the cut line for your section. In the screenshot, I have selected all of the objects I’d like to cut a section through, including the ground by clicking on the objects or dragging the selection box over the objects. Since this is a hypothetical design for the purposes of the tutorial, my ground plane is flat.
